Winning means you achieve what you want. First you expect things before doing anything. In order to win you have got to make an active choice - you have to label yourself as a winner. If you don't choose to be a winner, you are unlikely to ever become one.

The winners in life think constantly in terms of I can, I will, and I am. Losers, on the other hand, concentrate their waking thoughts on what they would have or would have done, or what they cant do.

To be winner you have to overcome obstacles for success like Ego, Fear or Failure of Success, Lack of self-esteem, no plan, no goals, lack of commitment, lack of training, lack of persistence, lack of priorities, etc.

Start by doing what is necessary, then what is possible, and suddenly you are doing impossible.

You have to trust in something - your gut, destiny, life, karma, whatever. This approach has never let me down, and it has made all the difference in my life.

Following are the few points you can use to build a winning attitude:

I am born to win
I must play to win and not to lose
Getting things done may be difficult but not impossible
I am confident that I can make things happen
If others can do it, I can do it to
I can do better than even present is the best

Winners need to celebrate their win. If they celebrate their win they feel motivated. Rewarding yourself and your team is very important.

Leaders need to say "thank you" regularly. Your team members will likely work much harder if they feel that what they're doing really makes a difference, and that their efforts are noticed by those with "power.

Thank-you gifts don't have to be extravagant or costly. Small gestures are often remembered longer than financial bonuses. These small, entertaining rewards can also help promote a sense of fun in the workplace, which may go a long way toward helping you retain key talent.

The reason most people never reach their goals is that they don't define them, learn about them, or even seriously consider them as believable or achievable. Winners can tell you where they are going, what they plan to do along the way, and who will be sharing the adventure with them.

If you're not making mistakes, you're not taking risks, and that means you're not going anywhere. The key is to make mistakes faster than the competition, so you have more changes to learn and win.
